Data facilities

We offer the following various levels of DR:

Backup to a remote site
•    Data – A full data backup is moved to a remote site every 24 hours.
•    Recover — Build the server, restore, move DNS.
•    Entering disaster recovery mode is initiated manually.

Backup + Standby servers
•    Data – A full data backup is moved to a local passive server every 24 hours.
•    Recover  — Restore, move DNS.
•    Entering disaster recovery mode is initiated manually.

Replication + Synchronization
•    Data — SQL Replication / Log shipping – or MySQL Replication. IIS / Apache synchronization. If required, an SQL Standard can have a mirroring configuration or MySQL replication.
•    Recover — Move DNS.
•    Entering disaster recovery mode is initiated manually.

Replication + Synchronization + GeoDNS
•    Data — A full data backup is moved to a local passive server every 24 hours. If required, an SQL Standard can have a mirroring configuration or MySQL replication.
•    Can be combined with all kinds of software solutions.
•    Recover - Move DNS.
•    Entering disaster recovery mode - Automatic.
Exiting disaster recovery mode - Manual.

Active – Active
•    Our most complex solution; requires planning to consider methods of avoiding conflicts, continuous data flow and more.
Requires SQL Enterprise with "Always on" of MySQL design.
Application servers
•    No recovery needed.
Note that a "regular" backup is involved.
•    F5 GTM, DNS solutions (Such as ultraDNS)
