Cisco stack upgrade license procedure
1. Copy licenses of each stack member to the flash
2. Copy licenses to members flash:
copy flash: flashX: (where X is member number and flash number)
3. Run license installation for each flash:
license install flash1:xxxxxxxxxx.lic license install flash2:yyyyyyyyyy.lic (Different license for each switch/flash)
4. Configure license boot for each switch:
sw01(config)#license boot level ipservices switch 1 Accept "End User License Agreement" (EULA) If you do then it actually displays a very long message, and in the end it asks you if you would like to ACCEPT? (Yes/ No): --- if you choose "yes" sw01(config)#license boot level ipservices switch 2 Accept "End User License Agreement" (EULA) If you do then it actually displays a very long message, and in the end it asks you if you would like to ACCEPT? (Yes/ No): --- if you choose "yes" If you don’t see the EULA for the member – it won’t be upgraded
5. Verify license for next boot with -show version- command
For master switch:
License Level: ipbase License Type: Permanent Next reload license Level: ipservices
For all members:

6. Reboot the stack with -reload- command
