XGlobe is hiring an expert Network Engineer with proven experience in the network framework to work on our global hosting projects. XGlobe is a leading hosting company and is well known for its professional network team. • Knowledge in TCP/IP & IP
• Layer 1-4 OSI model
• Switching: VLANs, spanning tree, trunking
• Routing: static, routing protocols, inter VLAN routing
• Security: Knowledge with firewalls, configuration & installation, specifically Fortinet/Checkpoint/Cisco
• Load Balancing: Knowledge of load balancing, specifically F5/Cisco
• Knowledge of Cisco/Juniper technologies
• SNMP Monitoring
• Windows/Linux platforms
• At least 2 years practical experience with hands-on at Network/Security
• Ability to work alone or within a group as part of a project
• English at high level

• VPN/Tunneling knowledge
• BGP
• IPv6
• Network Design
• L3 redundancy protocols
• Working knowledge and experience working with brands other than those specified (e.g. Nortel, HP, Alcatel)
• Knowledge and experience with virtualization
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP or other networking certification
• Hosting industry experience
