The Amsterdam data facility is a fully-secured site, complete with both physical security and electronic surveillance to ensure the safety of the facility and its content. Each component is fully redundant, assuring uninterrupted performance in case of failure. In addition, the center features top-line energy and power resources, as well as an efficient cooling system. This data facilitiy is located approximately 15 minutes away from Schiphol airport.
Power
The Amsterdam data facility is designed with power systems that have built-in redundancy, full Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems with N+ 1 level or greater and backup generator systems in the event of a local utility failure.
Cooling
The facility features a chilled water cooling system that generates appropriate airflow, temperature, and humidity to provide optimum conditions for equipment operation, and to minimize downtime due to equipment failover.
